"Lilies of the Field" was a piece I painted as a way to spend time with God. Tucked under layers in this piece are fragments of verses, such as the verse from Matthew 6 "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?". It is a 5x7 mini abstract painting on paper (6x8 with white border). Sealed in a plastic poly bag and shipped in a rigid, flat envelope mailer. Frame not included.
